Progressive Life allows a maximum of one (1) policy to be issued to each individual at any given time. You agree that you shall not obtain more than the one (1) policy for any individual insured person at any given time. Any such additional policies will be void as of the date of purchase and of no effect. Progressive Life will return any premium payments made for such additional policy(ies) upon discovery. Your initial policy will not be impacted and will continue in accordance with its terms.

Please read the following eBusiness & Paperless Terms (“Terms and Conditions”) carefully. By proceeding through the quoting and application process and/or purchasing a policy with Progressive Life, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any of these Terms and Conditions, do not continue with your life insurance application as you will not be able to complete a quote or bind a policy.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued participation in the eBusiness & Paperless option will constitute your acceptance of any revisions to the Terms and Conditions. Please check the eBusiness & Paperless Terms on our website regularly and review these Terms and Conditions each time you are asked to agree to them as they may have changed since you last viewed them.
What are the hardware and software requirements?
Hardware Requirements: You will need access to the Internet and a valid email account. Software Requirements: You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader version 4.0 or greater to view eBusiness & Paperless documents. You may download it here.
Should we make changes to the hardware or software requirements such that you may no longer be capable of accessing or retaining your electronic insurance documents, we will inform you of the revised hardware and software requirements. You will then need to review the new requirements and indicate your consent to continue participating in the eBusiness & Paperless option according to the new requirements.
What are my responsibilities?
Once you enroll in the eBusiness & Paperless option, it is your responsibility to inform us of any changes to your email address. Please notify us by utilizing the Customer Service Contact Information below. It is also your responsibility to keep your email address active and capable of receiving new emails. To do this, ensure that your email account has sufficient space for new emails and that your email server and spam-blocking software do not block our emails. We are not responsible for problems arising from emails sent to an inactive or out-of-date email address, unless we are solely negligent for using an incorrect address.
What happens if an email is returned as undeliverable?
If an email is returned to us as undeliverable, we will send you a paper version of the relevant document. After you have bound a policy, if two consecutive emails sent to you are returned to us as undeliverable within a 45-day period, you will be automatically unenrolled from the eBusiness & Paperless option, and you will receive paper versions of all insurance documents via United States Postal Service (USPS). If you have not yet bound a policy and an email is returned to us as undeliverable or email address is otherwise determined to be invalid, your application for a policy will not be able to be processed and no policy will be offered to you. You can re-enroll in the eBusiness & Paperless option by providing a corrected, valid email address and completing the enrollment process again.
Which documents will I receive electronically?
You will receive all documents electronically, unless we cannot deliver electronically due to legal and technological constraints in your state. These documents will be delivered to you via USPS to your postal address.
How can I access my documents?
All documents will be available to you through our website (login required). Your payment reminders are sent to you via email and payments will be processed electronically. We will send you an email with a link to our website when new documents are available to review, print, or save to your computer. It is your responsibility to log in to our website to view your documents.
How can I withdraw my consent?
You may withdraw your consent to review, receive, and sign your documents electronically at any time. Upon withdrawing your consent, all insurance documents will be mailed to your postal address via USPS (please allow up to 24 hours to process your unenrollment). However, for purposes of clarification, your withdrawal of consent shall not affect the validity of any documents sent, reviewed, received, or otherwise completed prior to such withdrawal of consent. If you have an account with us, you may withdraw your consent by logging in to your account on our website and sending us an email requesting to unenroll from the eBusiness & Paperless option. If you do not have an account with us, you may contact Customer Service utilizing the contact information provided below.
How can I request reprints of my documents to be sent via USPS?
If you are unable to view or print your documents from our website, you may request paper copies of your documents, free of charge, at any time. The paper copy will be mailed to your postal address via USPS. You can also request a paper copy of your Policy Contract or Specifications Page by logging in to our website.
